I hope this email finds you well. For our Jewish readers, as the book closes and your transgressions have been cast away, I hope your fast was easy, and you take full advantage of the clean slate that comes along with a new year. 

Despite a lack of or perhaps "no," confidence tomorrow is the first day of the in-person learning aspect of the blended school schedule for students Kindergarten through 8th grade. Hopefully, it all comes together and works out, and we wish everyone involved, students, parents, teachers, administrators, and support staff, all the best! 

We, as a city, have made and maintain significant progress on COVID, but there we're not out of the woods, and we've seen some spikes right here in Brooklyn, so please maintain your distance and keep your face covered. If the rates keep rising, we won't see restaurants offering indoor or outdoor dining. I don't think anyone wants to see the further economic collapse and a return to days resembling the awful spring of 2020. 

Anyway, I'll get into more topics as the week goes on but check out the items below, including our EWCDH meeting one week from tonight via zoom.
