Indoor dining done after a busy week

Before I recap any of the other news of the week, if you didn't already hear, unfortunately, Indoor dining will be prohibited starting Monday, December 13th. Indoor dining has reportedly been the main source of COVID-19 infections.

Before I recap any of the other news of the week, if you didn't already hear, unfortunately, Indoor dining will be prohibited starting Monday, December 13th. Indoor dining has reportedly been the main source of COVID-19 infections. This makes it even clearer that we need emergency relief policies to help our restaurants and small businesses; sustain themselves or there won't be places left to go to when the pandemic is finally over. 

I know I want the vaccine to be safely distributed as fast as scientifically possible but first we must survive physically and financially to get there. Speaking of quick, I'll be brief, but as I said we had a busy week inside the CB6 orbit. 

Our Permits & Licenses Committee met, we found out the date for the Gowanus Rezoning certification, and held our final full board meeting of 2020.

While that was the final board meeting of 2020, we have at least two more committee meetings this year. On Monday, December 21st, our Economic, Waterfront, Community Development, and Housing committee meets, and the week after that, we again have a Permits & Licenses meeting. Beyond that, our first full board meeting of the coming year will be on Wednesday, January 13th.
