Last night, as hyped in prior newsletters, our EWCDH committee met with a presentation from the Governors Island Trust. You can see the PowerPoint presentation they gave here or relive the magic, or experience it for the first time, by watching the meeting on YouTube. Thanks to everyone who attended and presented and especially to Rick Luftglass for chairing and to Samara Trilling for handing the zoom hosting responsibilities.

As far as meetings go, the week will quiet down as we approach my favorite holiday, Christmas Eve, on Thursday, followed by Christmas Day on Friday.

Speaking of Friday, those with trash and recycling collection on Fridays may place their material at the curb between 4 p.m. and midnight Friday evening. However, they should anticipate some collection delays, common after holidays and during the winter season. The same goes for next Friday, which is New Year's Day. However, if that’s not possible, and you have to place your materials cyrbsuide prior to Friday, you won’t be penalized.

On that note, I'll recommend reading on below, staying safe, and have a good Tuesday.

Best,
