With that hope in mind, we’ve written to the Mayor and Health Department urging faster and more equitable distribution of vaccines. In the letter, we cite council legislation and Comptroller Stringers' suggestions as possible paths forward, and we offer to do anything we can to help at the community level. Even under the best circumstances, we’ll be zooming for meetings for the foreseeable future. 

Our first meeting of 2021 will occur this Thursday, January 8th, at 6:30 PM, when our Landmarks/Land Use Committee meets with a 2 item agenda. We begin with an application for a Certificate of Appropriateness in the Park Slope Historic District at 424 7th Avenue and conclude with a Board of Standards and Appeals application for 166 Coffey Street.

I’ll stop here as some things are worth knowing beyond CB6’s immediate orbit, many of which are listed below my signature. So scroll down, stay safe and let's hope the first of the 52 weeks of 2021 is off to a good start.
