I just wanted to offer a brief hello and reminder before "seeing" many of you later tonight for our February 2021 full board meeting. It will kick off at 6:30 PM via zoom. If you're a board member, you will have received a panelist invite. If you're a board member and haven't received it, please check your spam, and if it's not there, email me, and I'll resend an invite to the email of your choice.

Tonight’s agenda, due to things like businesses not having applied for new liquor licenses, doesn't have a typical voting agenda. However, we will have, as confirmed yesterday, a presentation about the Covid-19 vaccines from doctors from New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. If you’d like to submit a comment or question in advance, please use this form. If you'd like to use the translation services, follow these steps and select the Spanish audio channel.

Lastly, touching on a familiar theme, the comprehensive Red Hook traffic study we've asked for, becomes more of a necessity by the day. I say this because, it’s been confirmed that, Amazon has signed a lease for Red Hook. Thank you the civic minded Red Hook expert that alerted me to the story and if the link above doesn't work, it’s here as a PDF.

On that note, I hope to “see” you later and recommend checking out the items below and, whether you stop by tonight’s meet or not, enjoying the rest of your day.

Best,
Mike Racioppo, District Manager
