It was good to “see” and hear from folks at last night's board meeting. I'd be remiss if I didn't start by thanking New York-Presbyterian Methodist Hospital and their community affairs manager Loren Avellino, for coordinating the team of doctors that gave last night's presentation on the COVID-19 vaccines. If you missed it or want to rewatch it, you can do so here on YouTube in English and Spanish. On the translation front, a big “thank you!” or “muchas gracias!” to Biviana Coyomani for translating and to CB6 member Samara Trilling for all her work organizing and setting it up.
Even without a typical voting agenda, we had a good turnout with 140 attendees, including 43 of 47 board members, and representatives from various levels of government.
If you want to beat the rush, you can register for our next General board meeting scheduled for Wednesday, March 10 at 6:30 via zoom.
On that note, please check out the items below, stay safe and enjoy your Thursday.
