we have not reached herd immunity yet, so the meetings I refer to will be or have been virtual.
Virtual meetings like tomorrow night's landmarks/ land use committee meeting or last night’s Gowanus CAG meeting. At the CAG, the EPA reported that 30 thousand cubic yards of sediment had been excavated from the canal so far and that phase 1 & 2 of dredging north of Carroll Street has been completed.
Speaking of dredging, as mentioned earlier in the week, EWCDH will hear from the Gowanus Dredgers and Van Alen Institute this coming Monday, March 29th. One week from tonight, at YHSE, we’ll see presentations from the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music and the NYC Test and Trace Corps.
On that note, I’ll stop and recommend scrolling down for more events and more information. Stay safe, get vaccinated when you can, and enjoy the evening.
