I hope this email finds you well as we head into the weekend and, for those who celebrate, a Happy Passover. While hardly divine intervention, Passover is why Alternate Side Parking will be suspended this coming Monday and Tuesday while public school students have their spring break as public schools are closed for the week.

While schools are closed for the week, just as was the case this week, we have 2 CB6 committee meetings. They’ll feature four presentations (2 for each) from interesting sources on various topics that will lead to good discussions and maybe a vote or 2. On Monday, March 29th, EWCDH will hear from the Gowanus Dredgers and Van Alen Institute, while two days later, on March 31st, YHSE will feature presentations from the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music and the NYC Test and Trace Corps. There’s other stuff happening that you can discover by reading on beyond my email signature.  

I know I keep saying if you can get a vaccination, get it. However, if you aren’t inspired by many knowledgeable and trustworthy sources urging you on, maybe a free Junior’s Cheesecake will provide a creamy yummy incentive. I don’t know if there is a ploy quite that esoterically Brooklyn.
