I hope this email finds you well after a weekend that celebrated a wide range of religious cultures and traditions. All the best wishes if you observed any, or all, of those holidays-Passover, Palm Sunday and Holi. 

You may have heard or noticed, public schools are closed for the week, but your CB tries to emulate our City's reputation and never sleep, so we have two committee meetings. At 6:30 PM, when EWCDH hears from the Gowanus Dredgers and Van Alen Institute, two days later, on March 31st, YHSE will feature presentations from the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music and the NYC Test and Trace Corps. Both will be held on zoom and start at 6:30 pm.

As for the reason we’re still meeting over zoom, the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s not over by any means. We’re in an race between additional cases and the expansion of vaccine eligibility and vaccination supply. Starting tomorrow, anyone over 30 will be eligible for vaccination, and next Tuesday, April 6th, anyone over the age of 16 will be eligible. This is good and, soon, the there will be no caveat of eligibility when telling people they should schedule an appointment ASAP.

So on that note, I recommend reading on getting a vaccine if you can and enjoy the rest of your Monday.
