Now that everyone over 16 years old is eligible, the weekend sounds like a great time to find and make a vaccination appointment. May you find one for today or, if scheduling isn’t your thing, and you’re at least 75 years old, or tag along with someone who is, go to one of these 26 sites and get vaccinated without an appointment. It’ll make future weekends that much more fun or at least resemble pre-pandemic “normal.” We’re not there yet, and Zoom is still the place to be for CB6 meetings, of which we have two next week.

On Wednesday, April 14th, beginning at 6:30 PM, we have our full board meeting with a voting agenda involving landmarks, land use, and a liquor license. The following night, Thursday, April 15th, also starting at 6:30 PM, our Transportation & Public Safety Committee meets to hear from the MTA about plans for an elevator and other ADA improvements at the 7th Avenue F/G station as well as a presentation from DCP on the Zoning For Accessibility text amendment.

On that note, I recommend reading on, finding out about other happenings, getting vaccinated, and enjoying the weekend.
