Last Thursday I, shared that CB6 member and Warren Street Tenant Association president Joe Anne Brown had tested positive for COVID-19. In welcome contrast today, I’m delighted to inform everyone she has now tested negative! While this isn’t a reason to assume risks are gone, the good news is in short supply, so any amount is welcome.

I’ll move to a few reminders. 

First, some folks took advantage (or so they tell me) of the flyer in the “below my signature” section of the newsletter. Still, it's worth reminding everyone that there are 26 vaccination sites across the city that require no appointment. The only caveat is that you have to be or tag along with someone 75 years or older. While not within CB6, our districts' closest such location is City Point/ Albee Square (thanks to Matt from Senator Myrie’s office for pointing that out).

Secondly, if you want to vote in Participatory Budgeting, follow this link and submit your ballot by April 14th. Lastly, the 14th is when our next full board meeting will be held. It’ll happen over zoom and begin at 6:30 PM.

On that note, I recommend reading on and finding out about other happenings, getting vaccinated, and enjoying the rest of your day.
