I hope this email finds you well this Tuesday, the 4th day of May. I can’t feign interest in Star Wars, so this isn’t the place for puns about “the force” being with us. After all, we’re an advisory body.

I’ll briefly reiterate how easy it is and important it's is to get vaccinated ASAP as herd immunity remains doubtful. Hopefully, as Congresswoman Velasquez has noted, this should serve as a rallying cry to motivate everyone to get vaccinated so we can get to be a post-pandemic city. 

I’ll also suggest reading the Gowanus Rezoning DEIS. It’s not just a rehash for the sake of it but because, as articles like this highlight, there’s new information to be evaluated. 

On that note, I recommend reading on to remind yourself of just how active our community is and that our May Full Board meeting is a week from tomorrow. But no matter what, stay safe and enjoy the rest of your Tuesday.
