I’ll begin on a high note as NYC’s COVID-19 statistics are trending in the right direction. The city has distributed nearly 7 million doses of Covid-19 vaccines, and hospitalizations, new cases, and positive tests are all dropping.

I’ll begin on a high note as NYC’s COVID-19 statistics are trending in the right direction. The city has distributed nearly 7 million doses of Covid-19 vaccines, and hospitalizations, new cases, and positive tests are all dropping. As a community district, we’re fortunate to be outpacing the citywide numbers in all such categories. I say that not as a suggestion to kick back but to keep it up, let your unvaccinated neighbors know it's working, and if you haven’t gotten a vaccination, don't wait; do so ASAP. 

Since I started with good news, instead of looking for a dark cloud, I’ll stop here and offer a familiar lineup of recommendations.
