As noted, our COVID-19 stats are looking better and better across the city and in our community, but we’ve got to keep it up. One way to do that is to get vaccinated against COVID-19 ASAP.

As noted, our COVID-19 stats are looking better and better across the city and in our community, but we’ve got to keep it up. One way to do that is to get vaccinated against COVID-19 ASAP.

Looking toward the weekend, our community has a lot going on.

Tonight, Friday, May 7th, the Gowanus Dredgers host an outdoor comedy show. Tomorrow, Saturday, May 8th, CB6 Parks Chair Glenn Kelly will lead a Gowanus and Park Slope Parks tour while at the Old Stone house Garden Train launches their lending library, and a Bicycle Flea market will take place from 10 to 4. There’s more than I could expect anyone to absorb in the newsletter intro, so check out the calendars for the Old Stone House, Gowanus Dredgers, the Brooklyn Public Library, Prospect Park, and the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music.

Looking past the weekend, this coming Wednesday, May 12th, over zoom, we have our full board meeting. It starts at 6:30 PM, and you can register for it here. The next day, Thursday, May 13th through Saturday the 15th, alternate side parking will be suspended while parking meters remain in effect.

There will be more about next week, next week. On that note, I’ll recommend reading past my signature, staying safe, and having a great weekend!

Best,
