As we strive to move past the Covid-19 pandemic, people are still dying from the virus, so we’re not past it yet. Reports indicate the B.1.617.2 (Delta) variant is a threat to reopening around the world.

As we strive to move past the Covid-19 pandemic, people are still dying from the virus, so we’re not past it yet. Reports indicate the B.1.617.2 (Delta) variant is a threat to reopening around the world. Being vaccinated is the best defense, so do so for free without even needing an appointment ASAP. 

Shifting to city civics, don’t forget early voting for the next city government (Mayor, Comptroller, City Council) begins this Saturday, June 12th, with the “election day” finale coming on Tuesday, June 22nd. If neither alternative suits your voting needs, you can request an absentee ballot until June 15th, and if you have questions about the Ranked Choice Voting (RCV) System check out tomorrow’s Southwest Brooklyn Tenant’s Union RCV workshop.
