I hope this message finds you well as we head into the weekend and celebrate the long-overdue recognition of Juneteenth as a national holiday.
I hope this message finds you well as we head into the weekend and celebrate the long-overdue recognition of Juneteenth as a national holiday.
So last night, as many reading this saw, heard, or read about, our Landmarks/Landuse Committee voted to approve the Gowanus Rezoning conditionally. If you haven’t experienced it or want to relive it, you can do so by watching the meeting or read articles in Patch and The Brooklyn Paper.
The next step in the ULURP process will be at our upcoming full board this coming Wednesday, June 23rd, at 6:30 PM via zoom. After that, it’s off to the Borough President’s hearing on June 30th. We’ve also got a Landmarks/Land Use committee meeting next Thursday, June 24th, that will review a separate ULURP as well as the CSO Tank demapping.
Before any of those meetings, our community will have a busy weekend as listed below my email signature. As such, I recommend reading past my signature to find out more and, if you haven’t already, get vaccinated against COVID-19 ASAP.
