I hope this email finds you well and cool.  A heat advisory remains in effect, and cooling centers are open.

Last night our Permits & Licenses Committee met and approved the application for a new Liquor License for an American/eclectic restaurant (DBA: Honeysuckle) at 1114 8th Avenue. If you’re interested, missed it, or want to relive it, you can watch it here on YouTube. Because it’s the summer, the application now moves to our executive committee, which will meet next Tuesday at 6:30 PM.

A final reminder that tomorrow the Borough President’s hearing on the Gowanus Rezoning will be held online and at Borough Hall.

There’s more going on amidst this heat that you can read about below my signature. So I’ll bid you adieu and hope that you stay cool and enjoy the rest of your Tuesday.

Best,
Mike Racioppo, District Manager
