I hope this email finds you well on this 8th day of July as tropical storm Elsa approaches the surrounding areas, and we await thunderstorms. The brunt of it is expected to be outside the city, but Con-Ed and OEM are taking preventive measures, and, for example, mobile vaccination sites will be closed through Friday.

However, weather, whether that be heat or rain, doesn’t stop our community from remaining active. There’s a lot of stuff happening in the coming days and weeks that are listed below. Also, even though we’re on summer hiatus, we’re co-hosting a meeting with CB7 on July 22nd to discuss the proliferation of last-mile warehouses.

On that note, I’m sending this, and hopefully, you’re reading this under safe and dry conditions. No matter what, enjoy the rest of your Thursday.

Best,
