I make it a habit not to send out newsletter updates on weekends. However, with school starting soon and the Delta variant spreading, vaccination against Covid-19 is as important as ever.

I make it a habit not to send out newsletter updates on weekends. However, with school starting soon and the Delta variant spreading, vaccination against Covid-19 is as important as ever. There is another deadline looming. For students between the ages of 12 and 17 to be fully vaccinated by the first day of public school, September 13th, they’d have to get their first dose by tomorrow, Monday, August 9th.

All this means is that public school students must receive their first shot today or tomorrow for full immunity to be reached on the first day of school, September 13th. Of course, this doesn’t make them ineligible to go to school or anything of that sort, but it makes them safer.
