I hope this email finds you well as we begin the workweek. I’ll begin with one of the two most popular newsletter topics, COVID-19 vaccinations.
I hope this email finds you well as we begin the workweek. I’ll begin with one of the two most popular newsletter topics, COVID-19 vaccinations.
As always, I’ll remind everyone that it’s a great idea to get vaccinated ASAP. However, there is more incentive because, as of tomorrow, Tuesday, August 17th, the unvaccinated are excluded from partaking in much of what this community, and this city of ours, has to offer. Beginning tomorrow, proof of vaccination grants you access to indoor dining, fitness clubs, and shows at indoor entertainment venues, including nightclubs, concert halls, and movie theaters. Tools to prove your vaccinated status include your paper immunization card, the state’s Excelsior Pass app, or the city’s NYC COVID SAFE app. The way to get vaccinated or start the process is by going to vax4nyc.gov or calling 877-VAX-4NYC.
The other most popular topic for this newsletter, the Gowanus Rezoning, widened its coverage due to an article appearing in the NY Times this weekend, and you can read about it here and among the items of interest listed below.
I’ll stop now and recommend you peruse those items, but no matter what, stay safe and enjoy the rest of your Monday.
