I’m glad to find at least four diligent readers among our subscribers. I say this because in the first newsletter I sent yesterday, I typed, regarding the vaccine mandate, that to “dine outdoors,” one would require one shot of a Covid-19 vaccination. What I meant to type was that folks need at least one shot to “dine indoors.”
Receiving one shot of a Covid-19 vaccine is required for many activities across our city. I, for one, was glad to be asked to prove my vaccination status last night at one of the many fine establishments on Smith Street. Keeping with the theme of vaccination, immunocompromised folks can receive a 3rd, aka “booster,” shot now. By clicking here, you'll find answers to many frequently asked questions about the booster shots. For those who aren’t immunocompromised, please note that the FDA will likely approve receiving a booster shot for everyone, and The city is expected to start offering those shots as soon as September.
Anyway, there’s lots of stuff happening in our community, and much of it is listed by my signature, so I recommend checking it out. But, even if you don’t check it out, stay safe and enjoy the rest of your Wednesday.
