The City announced that 75% of its adults have now received at least one Covid-19 vaccination shot. However, in a city of more than 8 million, that’s still many people unvaccinated. Within those numbers is a range varying by neighborhood, income, race, and overall lack of equity.
For that reason, it’s still super important that everyone keep safety measures in place and get vaccinated ASAP and for the immunocompromised to get booster shots ASAP. Without more people being vaccinated, the pandemic will go longer, and folks won’t be able to go to bars, restaurants, concerts, and gyms. If you are concerned about the booster shots, click here, and you’ll find answers to many frequently asked questions about the booster shots.
Anyway, there’s lots of stuff happening in our community, and much of it is listed by my signature, so I recommend checking it out. But, even if you don’t check it out, stay safe and enjoy the rest of your Thursday.
