I hope this email finds you well after the holiday weekend as fall, unofficially, begins. For all those celebrating Rosh Hashanah, may you have a happy, healthy, and sweet new year.

First, if you need help dealing with Ida's impacts, such as removing flood water or filing a damage claim, please go to nyc.gov/ida, call 311 or stop by an Ida Recovery Service Center. The Brooklyn service center is on Sullivan Street (Red Hook) at PS 15 and is open until 8 PM. Also, now that President Biden has approved an expedited Major Disaster Declaration, you can apply for disaster assistance at www.disasterassistance.gov/ or call FEMA at (800) 621-3362.
Secondly, vaccination requirement enforcements begin less than a week from today for many activities, including indoor dining, movies, and gyms. For that reason, don’t miss out and get vaccinated ASAP. There are more items of interest, some that may require vaccination, below my signature, and I’d suggest checking them out.
