Shifting from present to past tense, I hope all who observed Yom Kippur had an easy and meaningful fast.

Looking to the future, I'll start by letting you know that two weeks from tonight, Thursday, September 30th, at 6:30 PM, our Transportation/ Public Safety Committee will meet. This meeting will have one item on the agenda: an informational presentation from the Department of Transportation concerning the Brooklyn Queens Expressway and some of the recent changes and plans. You can register for the meeting here.
