A weekend that begins on the 9th anniversary of Superstorm Sandy marked by the Barnacle Parade which began at 4 PM in Red Hook’s Coffey Park. The weekend also includes Halloween and many celebrations.

A weekend that begins on the 9th anniversary of Superstorm Sandy marked by the Barnacle Parade which began at 4 PM in Red Hook’s Coffey Park. The weekend also includes Halloween and many celebrations. However, celebrations scheduled to be outdoors on Saturday may be delayed or canceled due to a foreboding forecast. For example, the Park Slope Civic Council’s Haloween Fest has been canceled, so it’s probably a good idea to keep an eye on the weather. There’s a lot more happening soon, and I’ve tried to organize and list it below my email signature as best I could.

However, before scrolling to check out those items, let it be known that last night’s CB6 Landmarks/Land Use Committee meeting can be watched here on Youtube. The brass tax of the meeting is that the BSA applicants were tabled and will present a revised plan to the committee another time. In addition, the Landmark Application at Tompkins Place was narrowly disapproved and now moves to our full board meeting on November 10th.
