On this 3rd day of January, the City is well prepared for snow, but none has fallen. However, if it does fall, and things like schools, alternate side parking, or sanitation are impacted, I’ll let you know ASAP. With that, I’ll briefly touch on three points. 

First, we’re setting new and bad records for Covid infections nearly every day, both city and statewide. However, those infections are far less severe for vaccinated and boosted. So click here for vaccination locations and free testing sites across Brooklyn and all five boroughs.

Secondly, in BKCB6’s immediate orbit, our Landmarks/Land Use Committee meets this Thursday, January 6th, at 6:30 PM over Zoom. The agenda consists of three separate items by a single applicant seeking a variance before the Board of Standards and Appeals (BSA). You can find out more info and register by clicking here. Also, while we’re on the topic of CB6 meetings, please note that next Wednesday, January 12th, at 6:30 PM, is our first full board meeting of 2022.
