You may not be interested in the mathematical concept, but many folks use the day as an excuse to eat the baked variety. In our community district, we have some phenomenal pie places.
You may not be interested in the mathematical concept, but many folks use the day as an excuse to eat the baked variety. In our community district, we have some phenomenal pie places. From Steve's Key Lime Pie in Red Hook, Four and Twenty Blackbirds in Gowanus, Miss American Pie in Park Slope, and others, we certainly don't lack great options. In fact, "Time Out: New York," subjectively, ranked the best eleven pies in the city, and four of them were from within CB6. But, of course, while it won't change the ratio of circumference to diameter, your belly may become circular.
Moving to things not nearly as fun but important, you may have found out about the 5-Alarm Fire that took place at the UFC Fit, formerly New York Sports Club, on Boerum Place by Pacific Street. You may have also been made aware of this due to helicopters flying above the area for a while. I’ve contacted FDNY, and last I was told, there were twelve people injured with injuries of varying degrees. Nine of those twelve were firefighters, while three were civilians. If I find out anything more, I’ll let everyone know asap.
On that note, I’ll stop and suggest reading further down past my contact information. You’ll find some interesting items and reminders. However, whether you stop reading here or not, I hope you enjoy the rest of your day.
