I hope this email finds you well on this cold and final March Monday. I want to focus on two items today before my scheduled suggestion that you read further down the newsletter.

First, tonight, on Zoom at 6:30 PM, our Permits & Licences committee will meet. The meeting's agenda will focus on three applications to the State Liquor Authority for new on-premises liquor licenses. The locations of those applications are 60 7th Ave between Lincoln and Berkeley place, 226 7th Ave between 3rd and 4th streets, and 354 Van Brunt Street between Wolcott and Sullivan streets. Secondly, while the health department’s alert system is at a low-risk level, Covid-19 cases are ticking back up. To stay at the low-risk level, folks need to get tested, vaccinated, and boosted. Under 40% of New Yorkers have been boosted. So, if you haven't done so, there’s no time like now.
