I hope this email finds you well during these final 30 hours of March. I have three items to highlight.
I hope this email finds you well during these final 30 hours of March. I have three items to highlight.
First, as you may already know, the Center for Disease Control (CDC) announced that it recommends that everyone over the age of 50 receive a second booster shot of the Covid-19 vaccine. Considering covid case numbers are rising, and we want to keep the risk level low, it’s good to make your appointment for whatever stage of vaccination you’re currently eligible for ASAP. I know at least two CB6 members have already been able to make their second booster appointment for tomorrow. If you’d like to make an appointment, click here or go to vaccinefinder.nyc.gov.
Secondly, it may feel like we only had our March meeting three weeks ago, but as time marches on, our April meeting is only a fortnight away on Wednesday, April 13th. It’ll start at 6:30 PM and be held over Zoom. If that interests you, click here to see the agenda and register or go to bit.ly/Apr13BKCB6.
Third, I'll suggest you check out items further down this email as you'll find some interesting things. For example, tonight, our old Councilman, neighbor, and friend Comptroller Brad Lander, his Council Successor Shahana Hanif, and Councilmember Tiffany Caban will hold a Zoom discussion on a feminist recovery for New York City.
If you’d like me to add something to future newsletters, let me know. No matter what you do, I hope you enjoy the rest of your day.
