I hope this email finds you well with rain expected in these final hours of March. I have two meetings and two reports to highlight and recommend.

First, there are two meetings tonight that may be of some interest and won't be impacted by rain due to their virtual settings. One, beginning at 6 PM, is Councilmember Restler's meeting dealing with the demolition of the Brooklyn Detention Center and mitigating its impacts. The other meeting I'm referring to is the 76th Precinct "Build The Block" meeting for Sector D, which begins at 6:30 PM.

Secondly, I have two recommended readings. The first, titled "The Path Forward to a Feminist Recovery," was produced by Comptroller Lander and Councilmembers Hanif and Caban. The report offers twelve steps that can be taken to ensure that city’s recovery from the Covid-19 Pandemic advances gender equity. The other item is the Coalition For The Homeless’s “State of the Homeless 2022”.
