I hope this email finds you well as we kick off April. May the month be filled with reflection, joy, and community for all those celebrating Ramadan. I'm not fooling around when I say our community has an especially busy weekend, so I'll get to it.

There are two inaugurations of Councilmembers. First, on Saturday, April 2nd, Councilmember Alexa Aviles will hold her inauguration from noon until 2 pm at P.S 204. Then, a day later, on Sunday, April 3rd, from 3 to 5 pm, Lincoln Reslter will hold his inauguration at Saint Francis College. Also going on this weekend, Assemblymember Carroll has a “Clean & Green” event, quilting on Prospect Park West, the Red Hook Conservancy will much, and the Gowanus Canal Conservancy will Garden in Carroll Park.

The details for these events and others are listed below, so I suggest you check them out, and I’ll not hold you up any further. However, be mindful that Covid cases are climbing so be mindful and get vaccinated and boosted if you haven't already.
