I hope this email finds you well on this 150th Arbor Day. I have two things to highlight, followed by a suggestion.
I hope this email finds you well on this 150th Arbor Day. I have two things to highlight, followed by a suggestion.
First, last night, our CB6 Landmarks/Land Use (LMLU) Committee met and reviewed four items. The agenda included five but one was tabled. All four voted on were applications for Certificates of Appropriateness ("C of A"), and the committee approved all four. If you’d like to see the meeting I’m referring to, click here for the recording on our YouTube page. If you want to focus on the future, these four items will be voted on by our full board at our May 10th meeting.
Second, we’ve got lots of stuff happening this weekend. That includes the Gowanus Grind, plant sales and walks, park painting, a community clean-up, free trees, a design workshop, and more. I won’t hold anyone up, but please note there’s even more listed below my contact information and that Alternate Side Parking will be suspended this coming Monday, May 2nd, through Wednesday, May 4th for Idul- Fitr(Eid- Al-Fitr).
Whether you care for, or are delayed by these suggestions, stay safe, get boosted, and have a great weekend.
