First, the Health Department’s Covid-19 alert system has officially moved from medium(yellow) to high risk (orange). This is due to the spread of a highly contagious subvariant spread and a rise in hospitalizations. So, if you haven’t already, get vaccinated and boosted by going to vax4nyc.nyc.gov.

Secondly, a draft of new congressional and state senate districts has been unveiled by the court-appointed special master, Jonathan Cervas. The final map is due to the court by Friday and would set the lines for the next decade and have far-reaching implications. You can see the new lines by going bit.ly/NewNYdistricts.
