I hope this email finds you well as we head into the weekend. It’ll be a very busy weekend and workweek.

I hope this email finds you well as we head into the weekend. It’ll be a very busy weekend and workweek. So I’ll quickly highlight some of what I’m referring to.

Starting tomorrow, Saturday, June 18th, early voting in primary elections for Governor, Lieutenant Governor, State Assembly, Judges, & other partisan positions will begin. Saturday is also the day to go on an art walk, get a free bike helmet, participate in a Teach-In,” and stop by a farm stand. Sunday, June 19th, there are events for Juneteenth, a street fair, and more.

On Monday, June 20th, the city observes Juneteenth. For that reason, Alternate Side Parking and sanitation services will be suspended, NYC Public Schools will be closed, and all city-run Covid-19 Vaccination and Testing sites will be closed. Looking to the workweek, we have a BQE meeting, a Last Mile Warehouse Forum, and a Gowanus Update

Lastly, the Health Department’s Covid-19 alert system remains at high risk (Orange). So, if you haven’t already, get vaccinated and boosted by going to vax4nyc.nyc.gov.

More information can be found by scrolling down this email. However, whether you scroll or not, stay safe and have a great weekend.

Best,
Mike Racioppo, District Manager
