Ten days from now, at 6:30 PM on Wednesday, September 28, at P.S. 32, we’ll have our September board meeting. It will be our first in-person full board meeting since we met at Methodist Hospital on February 12, 2020.
As a reminder, this shift and postponement are due to Governor Hochul not renewing Executive Order (E.O.) 11., which suspended the Open Meetings law allowing us to meet remotely. Letting the E.O. expire was done despite Covid statistics, such as hospitalizations, remaining above the threshold used to justify extensions just a few weeks back. Go figure. So, despite my jurisdictional gripes, I look forward to seeing everyone in person.
There are many other things to do virtually and in person across our community in the near future. I’ve listed much of it below, and I suggest you scroll down and see it yourself.
If you disregard the suggestion, no problem, and as always, I hope you enjoy the rest of your day.
