It may feel late, but you can't vote early anymore. After nine days of early voting, Brooklyn led the city & state with over 135k ballots cast.

It may feel late, but you can't vote early anymore. After nine days of early voting, Brooklyn led the city & state with over 135k ballots cast. While it's undoubtedly good, the election isn't just about proving we're more dedicated to democracy than Manhattan. The election is also about who will be our Governor, Attorney General, State Comptroller, federal & state legislators, judges, and what will be of various ballot proposals.  

So, If you haven't voted yet but want to ensure that we (Brooklyn) stay in the lead, make sure to cast your ballot tomorrow, Election Day, Tuesday, November 8th. Voting sites will be open from 6 am until 9 pm. To find out where to vote, go to findmypollsite.vote.nyc/.

There are also some service changes to note for election day. Public schools will be closed, there will be no sanitation pickup, and Alternate Side Parking regulations will be suspended.

The next night, Wednesday, November 9th at 6:30 pm, is our full board meeting, during which I'd expect we hear from many Tuesday night winners. It's a hybrid meeting with the in-person portion at Van Alen and the virtual part on Zoom.
