Alas, today is Friday the 13th. Referencing the lameness of a film franchise is in itself a lame attempt at humor and not CB6's official position. 

Our official positions are reserved mainly for but are not limited to, local landmarks, land use, and liquor licenses. Speaking of liquor licenses, three were approved at Wednesday's board meeting, which marks the first meeting of the McClure era. The only votes on the agenda were for the previously mentioned liquor licenses, but there was discussion of the tragic crash on 9th Street that left a 37-year-old mother dead. We've been on the record asking DOT to extend safety measures west of 3rd Avenue as the "status quo" is clearly not working. We reiterate that request.

Also mentioned at the meeting, Monday, January 16, is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Schools, libraries, government offices, the DMV, and courts will be closed in observance. Also, there's no alternate side, sanitation pickup, or mail.
