Of the immediate, 16 CB6 restaurants are participating in NYC restaurant week. Go to bit.ly/cb6restaurantweek to see the participants from all corners of the community. The “week” is closer to a month as it runs through February 12th. We’ve got great local business here, and this can help more people see that.

Shifting to the existential and things “seen,” it’s been over 300 days since it last snowed in the city. This snowless streak may set records, but none that we should celebrate. No, the flurries on Saturday don’t count. The warmer temperatures that lead to less snow result from climate change. Hopefully, this can remind us that our best tool to fight this is better policy choices.
