We're hosting a Zoom Town Hall on Monday, March 6th, at 7 PM, with Congressmember Dan Goldman. The focus is the Army Corps of Engineers Coastal Storm Plan, often called "USACE NYNJ HATS," and what it means for Red Hook and Gowanus.

The meeting will begin with the Army Corps of Engineers presenting the proposal, followed by questions, comments, and discussion.

RSVP at bit.ly/ny10cb6march6.

Representatives Goldman and Velasquez asked the Army Corp of Engineers to extend the official comment period for their plan from March 7th to March 31st. The comment submission guide from Councilmember Restler's office is helpful to read before making your comments official. In addition, I've compiled related information at bit.ly/cb6usaceinfo.

I've also compiled information throughout the rest of this email. I recommend reading it, but before you do, remember that our next Full Board meeting is Wednesday, March 8th

Have a great weekend.

Best,
