I'm glad to be getting back into the newsletter groove, so let's get to it. Since Labor Day, we've had four meetings.

I'm glad to be getting back into the newsletter groove, so let's get to it. Since Labor Day, we've had four meetings. Three were committee meetings: Landmarks last Thursday, Liquor Lisences on Monday, and Transportation last night. The other was Wednesday's full board meeting.

At the full board, we were joined by Public Advocate Jumanee Williams and Councilmember Lincoln Restler, reps from all levels of government, and voted on seven items that came out of committee. Three were from landmarks, approvals for 311 7th Ave. & 183 Amity St., and disapproval for 343 Hoyt Street. The remaining four votes were approvals for liquor licenses at 529 Henry St, 493 5th Ave, 221 7th Ave, and 304 5th Ave. Our next full board meeting will be on October 11th at 6:30 PM on Zoom and in person at the Van Alen Institute.
