We know correlation is not causation, but as we approach a seventh straight rain-filled weekend, I can't help but contemplate whether I should keep clicking send on my Friday newsletter. However, we're an advisory body, and since you're reading this, you know I clicked send. So, let's get to it; a lot is happening.

The weekend includes Open Studios, open houses, orcas, festivals, block parties, a monster mash, and more. Looking beyond the weekend, but within CB6's sphere of influence, on Monday, we'll review liquor licenses; on Thursday, we'll review DOT's proposal to make Union Street between 8th and Prospect Park West one way, leading towards the park.

There's more happening, and you'll find what I'm referring to by reading the rest of this email. Whether you read the rest or not, stay safe and have a great weekend.

Best,
