Hopefully, you’re doing well as we head into what’s expected to be a warm weekend. We can enjoy the warm weather, but it’s probably not something we should be thankful for.

Hopefully, you’re doing well as we head into what’s expected to be a warm weekend. We can enjoy the warm weather, but it’s probably not something we should be thankful for.  

Of course, our ever-active community gives plenty we probably should be thankful for. For example, Council Member Alexa Aviles’s bill, 708-A, which passed the council, will reduce truck emissions and require the city to redraw truck routes, seems to fit that mold. Additionally, It’s in line with our long-held positions, so it’s great to see this bill pass. A big thank you and congratulations to Council Member Aviles and her team!  

Throughout the rest of this email, I’ve listed many other things for which one could be thankful: things as soon as tomorrow, as far off as December. You’ll see what I’m referring to if you read the rest. If you don’t, you’ve read to this point, and I’m thankful for that.
