About This District

Brooklyn Community District 15

Brooklyn Community District 15 encompasses Sheepshead Bay, Manhattan Beach, Kings Bay, Gerritsen Beach, Kings Highway, East Gravesend, Madison, Homecrest, and Plum Beach. Covering 6.7 square miles and home to more than 160,000 residents, it covers a large part of southeast Brooklyn near the Atlantic Ocean.

Its neighborhoods range from waterfront communities and bungalow blocks to apartment corridors and commercial strips. Sheepshead Bay, Manhattan Beach, Gerritsen Beach, Homecrest, and the Kings Highway area give the district a mix of coastal issues, transportation needs, housing questions, and neighborhood institutions.

Thanks, and email if you have any thoughts.
