Brooklyn Community District 9

Brooklyn Community District 9 encompasses Crown Heights, Prospect Lefferts Gardens, and Wingate. Covering 2.9 square miles and home to more than 100,000 residents, it links central Brooklyn to the eastern side of Prospect Park and the neighborhoods south of Eastern Parkway.

Crown Heights, Prospect Lefferts Gardens, and Wingate give the district a mix of apartment buildings, rowhouses, medical institutions, parkside blocks, and busy commercial streets.
