can't lose sight of the fact that these aren't dry statistics; they represent people. People that are our neighbors and fellow New Yorkers, and while the risk is statistically higher for the elderly and vulnerable, COVID-19 does not discriminate . Sadly this is driven home by the loss of a 36-year-old Principal in Brooklyn to this virus . So if you're outside because you have to be, keep a safe distance from everyone, but if you have to go out to work, thank you for keeping us all going as we pause and STAY HOME!

While home, if you can afford it, it's a good idea to support local businesses by

ordering pick up or delivery or place a bid to support local businesses like

the raffle set up by the Gowanus Dredgers!
