I have no other "Pause" to compare this one too, but it seems like a lot is still happening. For one, as announced yesterday, the "Pause" itself has been extended until, at least, May 15th, and starting tonight at 8 PM , everyone must wear face coverings in public places where they cannot keep six feet away from others. 

From a CB6 centric perspective, this week saw coverage of letters we've written , including a reference to our testing letter in a question posed to the Mayor . We also announced that on Wednesday, May 6th  at 6:30 PM, we'll be holding our next Zoom based "Community Check-In." As more details are confirmed, I'll let you know. 

While the COVID-19 statistics head in the right direction, there is some measured relief but every reason to keep on keeping our distance and covering our faces. These guidelines have proven highly effective in the face of inadequate testing and treatments, as we await a vaccine.

As is the case Monday through Friday, there are some items of interest, reminders, and resources below. Depending on one's circumstances, each item could be more or less important. Still, I'd strongly recommend looking at the items that highlight the extreme inequality in how people are experiencing this crisis. It shows that while we are all in the same boat, many are in steerage or even cargo hold. Correcting this reality should factor into policymaking now and long after this crisis is over.
