I hope this email finds you doing as well as could be expected these days. Paraphrasing a great song, it's certainly hard times in New York.

As New York's COVID-19 numbers continue to move in the right direction in the conversation turns to how we move forward and "reopen." Of course, we can't do so without extensive testing because even if things are "open," when people feel unsafe, it won't matter. The city and state continue to push for more testing but will still need more resources from the federal government for that and much more.

Until the time we are safe, it's still important to keep our distance and cover our faces. It's not a tyrannical demand, but a slight adjustment to protect us all. It can be done. This crisis is not an inevitable consequence of living in a large city. It's noteworthy that Iowa now has more COVID-19 cases than South Korea .

Lastly, I know we are all finding our unique way through this, but I figured I'd mention that I found this article about John Lennon to be helpful, and sometimes radio does the trick.
