With everything happening, if there was ever a time to yell, “ serenity now ”, it would be today. Having said that, I hope this message finds you well on this, now sunny, previously rain and hail filled, Monday.

With everything happening, if there was ever a time to yell, serenity now ”, it would be today. Having said that, I hope this message finds you well on this, now sunny, previously rain and hail filled, Monday.

We kick off the week with some encouraging infection indicators. Still, if we want to safely “reopen” anytime soon, we all must continue to practice social distancing and cover our faces especially when we can't. Remember, what we do now, during the crisis, will determine our future. That continues to mean keeping a social distance, but also being mindful of other other practices and policies.

Policies and changes that could or should be made have been a consistent theme of these updates and our " Check - ins ". Keeping that in mind, you may recall that in mid-Ma rc h , we sent a letter looking for a way to suspend fees from 3rd party food apps such as Seamless. Well, Jersey City beat us to it, but there seems to be a reason for hope in the City Council . However, until such laws are enacted here, I’d urge everyone who is fortunate enough to order out to order directly from restaurants, so they don’t get further squeezed.

If Jersey city can do it, I’m confident New York City can find a solution. I’m not leaving, but Jersey doing something first makes me understand why someone could say “ Howdy East Orange ”.

I hope you stay safe and please check out the information, including an Alternate Side Parking update, below my email signature.
