I have 2 more items, after which I'd recommend scrolling past my email signature to check out other notices.
First, NYC beaches will open on July 1st
Secondly, yesterday's announcement that starting next week Alternate Side Parking was shifting to once a week , as do all things parking related, received a lot of responses and questions. The general theme of the questions was, 'does this mean only one side of my block gets cleaned?" The answer is "no." This change only matters for streets where there are multiple ASP days per side. For example, if one side of your block has street sweeping on Monday and the other side has it on Thursday, Cars on the Monday side move on Monday, cars on the Thursday side move on Thursday. So if you move from side to side, you must move on both days. That is the extended version of saying your block will see no change .
Keep reading to be fully informed and, either way, safely enjoy the rest of your Thursday.
