Tonight our Parks Committee meets at 6:30 PM, and our Landmarks/Land Use Committee is meeting on Thursday, October 22nd, at 6:00 PM. If you want to submit comments, it’s constructive to do so via our portal, as some have already done.

Also, for those who want to make public comments tomorrow, please fill out this form. As the form states, we will get to as many questions as possible, but keep in mind we’ve already had close to 400 people sign up. Please note that tomorrow is an informational session, and there will not be a vote on anything related to the pending rezoning. There will be other opportunities to weigh in. The rezoning will not officially start until next year, but, as the purpose of this meeting indicates, this will help us understand that timeline and the timeline before the official review. If you’d like to brush up on what we’ve said regarding Gowanus, feel free to do so here. I know this process started years ago, but time seems more and more like a flat circle these days.
